COVID-19 STATEMENT FROM THE NWRR LEADERSHIP

We are alive at an unprecedented time in history. Most of us cannot recall a time like this in our lifetime. The NW Region Royal Rangers want to share with you some important information regarding our response to COVID-19 and the Connect Conference scheduled for April 17 – 18, 2020 in Salem, Oregon at Peoples Church. State officials are limiting public gatherings throughout March and potentially April, including churches.

As leaders, we need to have a theological stance on all things. We must process our fears before God and let our actions be inspired by faith! We believe in the power of Prayer. Now we have the great privilege to pray for those of our Royal Ranger family and the NW Region to be kept safe. This is a great opportunity for all of us to proclaim the HOPE we have in Jesus and the POWER of God’s Word. We are surrounded by fearful and worried coworkers, neighbors or fellow students. The Gospel of Jesus has never been more needed and appropriate. Let us press on and watch God what He alone will do.

At the same time we recognize that to honor local and state government's requests, along with the health and safety of the Leaders of the NW Region, we have decided to postpone the Connect Conference to a later date this year, to be announced soon. For those who have already paid, we will refund your payments. Please continue to pray with us as we look forward to the future of the Royal Rangers in the NW Region. If you have any questions please feel to reach out to us.
